Join us at The Discovery Museum for our annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This will be a FREE admission day, with volunteers and sponsorship by Pullman & Comley LLC and Aquarion Water Company.

This year’s theme is “See yourself, be yourself.” Our goal is to give the children in our community the face-to-face opportunity to see themselves in STEM jobs, and to chat with people doing these incredibly important jobs, right here in our community.

Activities will include:
– Engineering classroom, sponsored by University of Bridgeport
– Mini med school, with Dr. Camelia Lawrence and Dr. Angela Campbell
– Discovery City in the Energy Garage maker space
– Make-and-takes
– Live science demonstrations in the Energize CT Theater
– Shows in the Henry B. duPont III Planetarium
– Books from Friends of the Bridgeport Public Library
