The scientists and educators who make up our Education Team are dedicated to inspiring wonder in young learners through engaging, exciting hands-on STEM experiences.
We understand transportation costs can present a challenge, so we offer learning labs and science demonstrations BOTH at the museum, and on-site at schools throughout our area.
Our Education Program guide describes the array of School programs offered by the Museum, including over 80 customizable learning lab, science demonstrations, and STEM learning experiences that make use of Discovery’s unique assets including shows in the Henry B. duPont III Planetarium, and simulated space missions in the Challenger Learning Center.
Teachers and administrators can customize a day of programming with the assistance of Robin Keller, Education Department Administrator by calling (203) 372-3521 ext. 117 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Museum staff can bring hands-on science excitement to your school. Find more details about traveling science in our Education Program Guide.
