This learning lab is a hoot! What do animals need to survive? We will learn about habitats, and how animals make sure where they live gives them what they need. We will then zero in on the barn owl, and complete a food web activity before discussing the importance of animals’ place in the food web, in addition to seed dispersal and the pollination of plants. We’ll learn that we can figure out what barn owls eat by looking at the pellets they expel, and then we’ll conduct a pellet dissection to learn what our owls’ dinner was!
