Your class is a crack forensics team encountering a crime scene at the Museum! We will observe the scene of a theft and learn about three suspects before visiting different areas to test evidence in this fun and engaging stations-based lab that includes chromatography, how to test physical properties of a substance, fingerprinting, and solubility. We’ll learn what forensics is, different types of evidence, learn to question motive and means, before taking all into consideration to build a case that we’ll discuss and present our evidence at the end of class. It’s a new-fashioned, STEM-powered whodunnit!
