Beginning Tuesday, June 7th, visitors are welcome to view Summer Perspectives, a colorful and beautiful collection of paintings by Connecticut artist, Alexandria Sinchak.

About the art: This 2016 collection features acrylic paintings inspired by various New England beach towns, primarily Milford and Mystic (CT), Cape Cod (MA), and Misquamicut Beach (RI). Other inspirations for these paintings include: pink, cotton candy clouds, the magical energy of the setting sun, pastel shades of ice cream, driving along the coast, big skies filled with sea air, little beach houses, and summer day trips.

About the artist: Alexandria Sinchak studied English and Fine Art in New Haven, CT. After graduating in 2011, she displayed her series “The Attic,” which featured a colorful collection of surreal, whimsical collages and paintings on vintage furniture.

Alexandria is 27 years old and lives in Connecticut with her toddler, Madeline, and her husband, Adam.
