Looking for a great way to spend a day off from school? Join the Discovery Museum for some of the coolest mad science around! We’ll experiment with a variety of STEM topics including chemistry,  physics, and robotics. Open to students in grades K-6, programs run from 9:00am-3:30pm with extended day options that run from 8:30am-9:00am and 3:30pm-5:30pm. Sales close October 31, 2019 at 11:55pm. Girl Scout Cadettes and Seniors–Challenger Mars Mission

The year is 2076. A handful of facilities have been established on Mars, including a greenhouse, a mobile geological survey base, and a centralized research habitat. The primary human habitat is not on Mars, but on one of its moons, Phobos. A large shuttle regularly ferries astronauts and scientists between the base on Phobos and the surface of Mars. This shuttle, or Mars Transport Vehicle (MTV), carries parts to build a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to continue the search for…

Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes–Blast Off! Rocket Design Workshop

3…2…1…Blast off! In teams, Juniors and Cadettes will receive a budget and learn how to balance it and write checks. They will use their budget to purchase materials for their rocket design, which they will then launch to test.
